How I build
Hand-built, with a bit of character
I write every site by hand. No drag-and-drop builder like Wix, and no WordPress theme weighed down with a stack of plugins that drag the speed down and fall over the moment one of them updates. I work in Laravel, the same framework bigger outfits trust, which keeps things quick, secure and easy to change down the line.
The phone comes first when I design, because that's where most people in Rawtenstall will come across you. Only if you want me to. Some people are happy to run it themselves after launch, others would rather I handle the updates, backups and the odd change as things move on. There's an optional monthly arrangement for that, and no long contract to sign.
