Solutions
Software that solves a real business problem
Most small businesses do not need a bigger brochure. They need the admin to stop eating the week - the appointments taken while nobody can answer the phone, the orders that pay a third of the bill in commission, the enquiries that go to whoever replies first.
These are the four systems I build most often. Each one is made to fit how you already work, and each one is yours to own rather than rented from a platform.
Booking Systems
Take appointments day and night, hold deposits up front, keep every staff calendar straight and cut no-shows with automatic reminders.
- Live availability
- Staff and resource calendars
- Deposits and payment up front
- Automatic reminders
Online Ordering Systems
Your own ordering system for collection and delivery: no commission per order, and the customer list stays yours.
- Full menu with options
- Collection and delivery
- Postcode-based delivery zones
- Card payment and cash on collection
Ecommerce Solutions
Sell online properly: a catalogue that is easy to manage, secure payments, stock that stays accurate, click and collect and delivery.
- A catalogue you can actually run
- Stock control that stays honest
- Secure card payments
- Click and collect
Lead Generation Websites
A site with one job: turning the people already searching for you into calls, WhatsApps and quote requests.
- One clear next step per page
- Quote forms that get finished
- Built for local search
- Genuinely fast
How it works
Usually you need more than one
A salon needs bookings and deposits. A restaurant needs tables and collection orders. A garage needs an MOT diary and something that reminds last year's customers they are due again. Very few businesses need exactly one of these and nothing else, which is why they are built to sit together rather than as four separate systems bolted side by side.
It also means you do not have to do it all at once. Most builds start with whichever bit is costing the most right now - usually the phone, or the commission - and grow from there once it has proved itself. That keeps the first invoice sensible and the decision easy to reverse if it turns out I was wrong.
And all of it sits on your own website, under your own domain, with your customer data in your hands rather than behind somebody else's login.
By trade
Or start with your industry
There are 30 pages covering the trades I work with most, each one about the specific problems that business has rather than the software in the abstract. It is usually the quicker way in.
