How I build
Hand-coded, and built to keep going
I write every site by hand. No drag-and-drop builder like Wix, and no WordPress theme crammed with a dozen plugins that bog it down and fall over the moment one of them updates. I work in Laravel — the same framework plenty of bigger companies trust — which keeps a site fast, secure and easy to change down the line.
The phone version comes first, since that's where nearly everyone in Colne will land on you. Pages load quickly, read clearly, and steer people towards the thing that counts: ringing you, messaging you, or filling in a short form. Nothing cluttering the way, nothing to wade through.
Search gets sorted from the start too. I lay each page out so Google can tell what you do and where you're based, which gives you a fair shout at turning up for the "near me" searches around town. It's not a trick and it doesn't happen overnight, but it's done properly the first time.
