How I build
Built by hand, not from a template
I write every site by hand. I don't use drag-and-drop builders like Wix, and I steer clear of WordPress themes loaded with a dozen plugins that drag the speed down and fall over the moment one of them updates. I work in Laravel — the same framework plenty of larger firms run on — which keeps a site quick, secure, and simple to change down the line.
The design starts with the phone, because that's where most people in Darwen will come across you. Pages load fast, read plainly, and steer people towards the one thing that counts: getting in touch, by call, message or a short form. Nothing cluttering the way, nothing to wade through.
Search gets thought about from the start too.
